Crystalline Glazes

Mayco takes the mystery out of crystalline glazes. This innovative process allows the artist to produce beautiful macro-crystalline structures in every firing.

Elements

Gorgeous non-toxic glazes in natural earth tones. Surfaces vary from gloss to matte, with subtle variations in each color for a truly unique look. No two pieces will ever be the same. Great for achieving a high fire pottery look at low fire temperatures. Easy application make Elements ideal for ceramic projects in the classroom!

Elements Chunkies

Our popular earth tone Element Glazes now come with crystals! During the firing, the crystals spread out to produce a burst of color to create a truly unique look. No two pieces will ever be alike, as the shape of the piece, glaze application, firing temperature and kiln load all affect the final glaze surface.

Foundations

A basic color palette developed for contemporary ceramic studios. Foundations glazes lay down smoothly, won't pick up previous coats, and show almost no brush strokes - making base coating an easy process.

As a base they provide an excellent "foundation" for decorative brush work using Stroke & Coatฎ glazes.

Jungle Gem Glazes

Exceptional vibrancy from leaded glazes. Reds and oranges. Crystal chunks melt to create fluid mixes of color.

how to use

Pottery Cascades

These glazes produce special effects when used in combination with other non-toxic glazes. White Cascade intermingles with other glazes being used, introducing pure white to the colors you are using, blending with the color. Clear Cascade produces a flowing effect and allows the color of the base glaze to show through. Apply Cascade over or under non-toxic glazes to create spectacular effects.
