Project Description: Decorate our Sushi Plate with the "Bring Good Fortune" symbol for a perfect housewarming gift! It's dramatic coloration is achieved with 3 easy-to-use Concepts®!
2. Measure a 4-1/2" x 6" square in the center of the plate, and tape off square with masking tape.
3. Trace "Bring Good Fortune" symbol on contact paper with clay carbon and pencil. Cut out, peel backing and place in center of square, pressing down firmly to keep paint from leaking underneath.
4. Pour a puddle of Neon Yellow on foil. Use sponge to sponge 1 coat on center of plate, applying color right over contact paper. Lift corner of contact paper with straight pin and gently peel off. Do not remove masking tape.
5. Pour a puddle of Neon Red and Neon Yellow on separate areas of foil. Use Fan Glaze brush to apply 3 smooth coats of each following color to specified areas. Let dry after each coat, except last coat of Neon Red as indicated below:
Neon Yellow: front and edges of band on left side of indented band.
Neon Red: area on plate around sponged square; while last coat is still slightly damp, gently peel off masking tape.
6. Use Round brush to apply 3 coats of Dark Black to symbol, band around symbol and indented band, and on back of plate. Let dry after each coat.
7. Use Fan Glaze brush to apply 2 coats of Clear Glaze completely over plate. Let dry.
