Look on the Bright Side Owl Bank

Project Description: When it comes to creativity, look on the bright side! This Retro Owl Bank brings a cheerful outlook to stashing your cash while adding pops of vibrant color that make it perfect for displaying in any room in the house.

   Duncan Signature Liner Brushes:
      #1 Liner
      #4 Liner

   Sponges & Cleaners:

Instructions:
  1. Wipe ware with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. To create feathers around eyes, use the No. 1 Liner to brush three coats of Neon Yellow, Neon Blue, Neon Orange, Neon Red, and Light Blue Spruce in petal shapes, referring to photo for placement. Tip: Petal shapes can be lightly drawn around eyes with a pencil first if desired before filling in with color.
  3. Using the Liner brushes as needed, apply three coats of color to the following sections, letting dry between coats:
    a. Black - pupils
    b. Neon Yellow - beak, talons and top row of feathers on backside
    c. Neon Orange - second row of feathers below Neon Yellow
    d. Neon Red - third row of feathers below Neon Orange
    e. Light Blue Spruce - fourth row of feathers below Neon Red
    f. Bright Delft - fifth row of feathers below Light Blue Spruce
    g. Neon Blue - tail feathers
  4. After all colors have completely dried, sponge on one coat of Pure Brilliance and let dry. Brush on a second coat with Fan Glaze brush. Let dry completely.
  5. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
