- Wipe inside and outside of jar with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
- Pour some Pure Brilliance Clear Glaze inside jar. Roll around to coat inside and pour out excess into a clean container. Let dry.
- Pour a puddle of Dark Honeysuckle large enough to coat child's hand onto one of the foam plates.
- Dip hand in puddle, making sure fingers and palm are coated with color.
- Gently press handprint on side of jar, then lift straight up to avoid smearing. Repeat on reverse side.
- Wash paint from hand.
- Pour a small puddle of Light Jade onto a clean plate.
- Dip the tip of child's index finger into the Light Jade and gently press at a slight angle to create one side of a heart shape. Re-dip fingertip and press on the other side of first print at an angle to make a heart. Refer to photo. Make several hearts around handprints. Let dry completely.
- Pour some Pure Brilliance onto a foam plate. Using a sponge, gently dab Pure Brilliance over the handprints and hearts, being careful not to smear paint. Let dry.
- Carefully brush a second coat over the entire jar. Let dry.
- Stilt and fire to cone 06.
