Star-Spangled Server |
|
Project Description: Dish up some star-spangled creativity this Fourth of July with servingware that's festive and fun! This red, white and blue flag plate will add some patriotic flavor to your Independence Day cuisine. |

| Instructions: |
|
- Wipe plate with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
- Trace four star patterns onto shelf paper. Cut out stars.
- Trace stripes pattern on tissue paper using pencil.
- Lay tissue paper with stripes pattern on plate and trace over lines using fine-tip marker pen.
- Remove backing from stars and adhere to traced areas.
- Brush three coats of Cobalt Blue on star section. Let dry.
- Brush three coats of Neon Red in every other stripe as shown. Let dry.
- Remove star cutouts. Gently smooth out painted edges to help prevent bleeding into the white areas.
- Dryfoot and fire to cone 06.
- Brush two coats of Envision Clear Glaze in the stars and the white stripes. Let dry then brush two coats onto back of plate. Let dry completely.
- Stilt and fire to cone 06.
