Let's Flamingle Margarita Glass

Project Description: Everyone will be flocking to you at the party when you're enjoying your adult beverage from this fun and colorful glass. Give it personality plus with clever wording and a bright feathered body.

   Duncan Cone 04 Dinnerware Bisque:
      Margarita Glass
   Duncan Signature Liner Brushes:
      #1 Liner
   Duncan Signature Round Brushes:
      #8 Round
   Duncan Signature Fan Glaze Brushes:
      #6 Fan Glaze
   Duncan Clear Glazes:
      Pure Brilliance Clear
   Duncan Concepts Underglazes:
      Light Wine
      Dark Black
      Light Honeysuckle
   Sponges & Cleaners:
      Round Sponge 2.5" - 3"
   Miscellaneous:
      Container for water

Instructions:
  1. Wipe cup with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
  2. Use pencil to freehand flamingo design onto glass.
  3. Use pencil to freehand wording "Let's flamingle" on the base of glass.
  4. Brush three coats Light Wine to flamingo. Let dry.
  5. Brush one coat Light Honeysuckle to chest area of bird and part of neck. Let dry.
  6. Brush Black to top part of beak with a small black dot for eye.
  7. Use Liner brush dipped in Black to paint words on the base of cup. Let dry.
  8. Use a round wooden tip about 1/8" – 1/4" circumference dipped in Black to dab dots around cup. Let dry.
  9. Place cup on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
  10. Brush coat of Pure Brilliance to inside cup and roughly around the flamingo. Let dry.
  11. Brush a second coat to entire margarita glass. Let dry.
  12. Stilt glass on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
