Our popular earth tone Elements™ Glazes now come with crystals! During the firing, the crystals spread out to produce a burst of color to create a truly unique look. No two pieces will ever be alike, as the shape of the piece, glaze application, firing temperature and kiln load all affect the final glaze surface.

A basic color palette developed for contemporary ceramic studios. Foundations glazes lay down smoothly, won't pick up previous coats, and show almost no brush strokes - making base coating an easy process.

As a base they provide an excellent "foundation" for decorative brush work using Stroke & Coat® glazes.

Underglazes were the first product line Mayco produced in 1954 and continues to be a staple for many ceramic artists. Mayco Fundamentals® Underglazes are highly versatile and may be used for complete coverage or in design, applied to clay or bisque and have a broad firing range.

These glazes produce special effects when used in combination with other non-toxic glazes. White Cascade intermingles with other glazes being used, introducing pure white to the colors you are using, blending with the color. Clear Cascade produces a flowing effect and allows the color of the base glaze to show through. Apply Cascade over or under non-toxic glazes to create spectacular effects.

Mayco's Stoneware Glazes have been formulated for mid-range (cone 4/6) and high fired (cone 9/10) clay bodies. Fired finishes include variegating gloss and matte.
