Instructions: |
|
- Wipe plate with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
- Place pattern on plate with clay carbon paper underneath. Trace over lines to transfer design onto plate.
- Trace round shape or template on piece of contact paper. Cut out two circles.
- Remove backing and adhere to center of the two black shapes over nose.
- Brush two good coats Black to outer ears, over eye masks and nose, leaving white highlight.
- Use Liner brush and paint line under nose and mouth with two good coats of Black. Let dry.
- Remove round shapes from eyes.
- Paint two Black circles in each eye for pupils.
- Paint 2-3 coats Dark Ginger in outer eyeball. Let dry.
- Use Liner brush to paint Black pupils leaving white highlight. Let dry.
- Brush three coats Light Gray to inner ears.
- Use Liner brush dipped in Light Gray to dab short lines around muzzle. Let dry and repeat. Let dry.
- Place plate on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
- Brush a coat of Pure Brilliance in white, bisque areas of plate. Let dry.
- Brush a second lighter coat Pure Brilliance on entire front of plate. Let dry.
- Brush two coats Pure Brilliance to back of plate. Let dry.
- Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
